I'm thinking WTF when I click to reply and I get a web page for kitchen sinks...but that's besides the point.
L's voice sounds crappy, Mirixa thinks he's using a voice scrambler, so maybe...but I didn't expect his voice to be deep like that...CREEPY!
Light's voice sounds crazy retarded.
But anyway, I'm murdering them if they screw up L's beautiful voice (even though I've never heard it...just...err...imagined it...)

Eh. Sounds like typical cheesy American anime voices to me. Seems like it's a real challenge to find a voice actor who's actually willing to put effort into their part o.o
I think I'll stick with the subs if I ever get around to watching this.

Sujine, YEah they did screw up L's voice. You hear it when he says '...If you can'
However the scrambler is not as cool as the alien-like one in the japanese dub.

I do prefer the Japanese voices on this. (Even though I favor the one I see first, sub or dub) Though, for some really strange reason, Light's english voice reminds me of dane cook....WHY?!?!?!?
I don't like the english voices, it just doesn't...fit....match, whatever, ya know?

After seeing this, I don't want to touch the english dub with a ten foot pole. Then again, I loathe english dubs. Period. The only one I thought was even remotely good was Full Metal Alchemist. Every anime I've seen has been Japanese with English subs (excluding Afro Samurai, which is another exception).

The voices are... crap! But it's better than the original japanese. OMG! When I watched the original I was going "Huh...?!?" half the time!
