Title: American McGee's Alice [In Wonderland]

Although I have not fully played this game, I have been looking up on it and played a demo version of the game. I can't get enough of it! It was so amazing.
Lewis Carroll goes goth n' gore. The game is rated M for Mature for animated violence, animated gore, and animated blood. As when you kill a Cardguard, its blood and guts spew out on to the floor.

Here is more info on it, as there is too mcuh for me to explain right now:

Has anyone else played this game, or am I the only one? ._.

Pretty sure you're the only one lol

Looks interesting, but not really my style.

There is a movie that is supposed to be based on this game coming in 2008. But I don't want to see it. Sarah Michelle Geller is supposed to play Alice and she looks nothing like her.

My parents ordered me the game from eBay last wednesday, and I'm still waiing for it to come in. ((Shipped on Friday, though. O////O))
I honestly think that this is going to be a freakin' lousy movie. seems that all the movies tody are based on a book or a video game. It's like the producers aren't using their imagination. They're just making cheap rip-offs from good books and games. :( Did you see what they did to Eragon? -shivers-

I honestly think that if Hollywood keeps doing this, there's no use in seeing the movies but rather reading the book and/or playing the video game. Or seeing the original movie from long ago. ((Some people do that nowadays. Just like what they did with "The Omen".))

This game was made back in the year 2000, but the graphics are very advanced, beautiful, gorgeous and detailed for its year. But Alice in this game has gone mad and was put in a mental institution for repeated attempts at suicide. ((Because shortly after her second adventure she lost her parents and her home to a fire at such a young age.))
However, though this is a weird take on Lewis Caroll's Alice's Adventure's in Wonderland, this is definately NOT a child's game! It is as mature as they come.

The game came out in the year 2000. You need to buy it on stores like eBay or Amazon. I bought my copy on eBay. It's actually the best game I've ever played. It is a third-person shooter game. ((Does not mean it's a shooting game, it means it's at a third person's perspective.))

The fairy tale is over. This is NOT a mere childs game, as I have said before, it is a very bloody a gorey game. That's what makes it cool, though. It was sad when the White Rabbit died. I have not finished to game, but I have seen the ending on YouTube. Right now I am at the part where I have to face Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.
In the game, when ou slice a cardgaurd in half with the vorapl blade, the blood and guts spew out, and sometimes their bottom half is still runnning. Not exactly child's play...

Anyways, I absolutely enjoyed the game and hope to finish it. But It is definately not for the sweamish, though... and a word of advice, too. PLAY IN GOD MODE! It's the best part. :P XD Because when you use a certain weapon, it uses up your will meter. ((Will to fight, as Alice in this game a demented, suicidal, heart-broken wreck. Except the vorpal blade uses no will at all. But the Blunderbuss uses up all of your will.)) In God mode, that doesn't happen. So you can use all the weapons you want all the time! Weeee!! XDXD *twitches*

I know so many girls who LOVE this game it scares me. I myself never tried it.

Hinata - August 7, 2007 05:36 AM (GMT)
You should try it. It's a survival horror game, though, if you like that....
anyways, I have defeated the game a long time ago. ((Well, actually, about 3 weeks ago.)) The Queen of Hearts doesn't look like a Queen at all. She looks, the puppet of course, like a squid with a female body and face. The real one is a big, pink, tentacle-like Behemoth.

American McGee is such an amazing video game designer. In just the year 2000, he made beautiful and superb graphics in a day and age where graphics weren't that advanced yet. He is my inspiration to go into graphics designing. I myself have created my own twisted tale on the Wizard of Oz. It's very bloody and gorey, and Dorothy is barely recognizable.... but enough about that, here is more on the game:

The Fairytale is over.

When Alice responds to a mysterious summons to return to Wonderland, the place is barely recognizable. Somethin has gone very wrong. Undaunted by the diseased atnmosphere, confusion and mortal danger that surrounds her, Alice commits to set it right. Embark on a twisted journey to save Wonderland gone bad... but be warned if you're gonna chase this rabbit -- you'd best go armed...
  • Stunning third-person shooter, 3D action on an enhanced version of Quake III Technology.
  • A living breathing Wonderland thiat is deadly as its inhabitants.
  • Twisted renditions of characters from the original Alice Adventures.
  • Defend yourself with a collection of the most deadliest toys ever imagined.
  • Solve devious puzzles nd labyrinthine mazes.
  • Baddle sadistic card guards, demonic fire imps, ravenous jabberspawn and many more.
  • Hugely atmospheric score composed specifically for the game by Chris Vrenna, founder member of the Nine Inch Nails.

Not only did American McGee make Alice, but he helped make Mortal Combat as well. He has also made Bad Day L.A. and Scrapland. His most recent work is American McGee's Grimm. GRimm stories based on the original Brothers Grimm tales (Not the crappy re-told stories made for children), like Red Riding Hood, Hanzel and Gretal and Snow White.
His work back in 2004 was originally supposed to be about the Wizard of Oz. But, sadly, American McGee cancelled it for reasons why he thought that it would never b such a hit as Alice was. For some reason, he felt that Oz just wasn't enough as he thuht it would be.

And to put that all bluntly, he probably felt that Oz wasn't sucessful and didn't have enough entertainment and would probably not interest many and cancelled it for the game, probably (it's just a thought) was very short and he wanted it to become a movie. But, with its defaults and being unsucessful, he cancelled it.

McGee originally wanted to make a movie out of Alice back in 2003, but somehow it failed. But then it was picked up in 2007 (now) and *pukes*...Sarah Michelle....Gellar.......*chokes*..... is playing Alice!! D: *dies*. The movie was really meant to be realsed into Theaters and IMAX in July of 2007, but now the date has been pushed up to sometime in 2008. I want to see the movie, but I bet it's not going t be as great as the game. Especially with Gellar playing Alice. >_<

so i looked this up and it looks awesome. i think if this concept was made into a movie it would be sweet.
