Alright, this is important. At least, it is to me, though it doesn't affect this forum in the least.

Recently, I've been contemplating the creation of an RPG forum. No, not a Naruto RPG, it'll quite likely have it's own original story. No, this RPG will not replace JE, (I hope :P) but if it becomes successful, it probably will become an affiliate. Anyway, I'm looking for somewhere between 3-5 good RPers who have time to commit without taking much time away from other boards they may be on.

I don't mean the people who will post their RP posts without capital letters, commas, quotation marks, etc. I mean the actual good ones, who are at least around my level, and I'm not even all that great of one. I just have enough time to keep ours moving :P.

But anyway, yeah, I'd really appreciate it if you guys could help me. I have a tentative story, but I have no names or anything.

So there's this typical bad guy lair sort of thing, and it's hidden, of course. And he has those sort of mini-boss minions, each of which rules over a small nation of the world which is being controlled by the big bad guy. Each of these guys has some special, one of a kind weapon, each of a different type, and when defeated, you can purify these weapons and use them to beat the big bad guy. (Typical sort of thing :P)

Of course, the members, as the adventurers will be fighting battles and traveling to beat that guy, of course. There may be shops and stuff, and with that, a money system. The moderators may have characters, I guess, but they shouldn't be involved in whichever part of the RPG they moderate.

There'll definitely be more to come after that, but that's just the first part, I suppose.

So... any takers/ideas? I hope there wasn't too much confusing stuff in there.

I'm running my own Naruto form now, and its actually decently active with more than 100 members in a month, but I'm sure I could make time for something like that.

I'm an advanced rper, and I've been playing for almost a year, but I'm still pretty good.

Ideas for names of the five sages:

1st sage: Torii- is a traditional Japanese gate commonly found at the entry to a Shinto shrine.

2nd sage: Tamamo

3rd sage: No

4th sage: Mae -these names combined are a legendary figure in Japanese mythology.

5th sage: Gohei- are wooden wands, decorated with two shide (paper streamers) used in Shinto rituals.

Just suggestions... there just a start. I'm just trying to make connections to the ouside world to make it alittle fun. :P (Tell me if i shouldn't do this... -_- )

It's cool. I did that with a lot of the Academy teachers. Muchuu means loopy or something like that, and she's an out of it character :P.

Nah, not really. Here theres a pretty good staff, and a RP board takes minimal managing once you get it up and running properly.

Oh, and JE, when you make your new board, make it on Zetaboards. It's a great upgrade over the current boards.

@beat: I'm hoping to be able to. I do a lot of my homework at school and stuff :P. And isn't zetaboards invisionfree? I went to the register page there, and the address is on invisionfree, so what's different about it :P?

But basically: The old invisionfree boards are based off of invision power board v 1.3. Zetaboards is the "new" invisionfree boards based on the ipb 2.0 protocol. Currently they're only in beta though.\

Some good names still open too I think. I just registered one with the name "Freeze" which I'm sure is pretty popular :P

My bad ,I constantly think Kaji is beat, because his avatar is similar to one of beat's old ones :P. Gotcha now.

Homework has to do with it because if I don't do it at school, then I have to do it at home, which is when I'd have to run the boards and stuff. Message boards are blocked at school :P.

Aobōzu - the blue monk who kidnaps children
Amanojaku - a small demon which instigates people into wickedness
Goryō - vengeful spirits of the dead

Mujina - a shapeshifting badger
Satori - an ape-like creature that can read minds

i would like to. you know i'm an experienced and well playing RPer. even though you rarely update my story and I am on a 1 man team, I do what I can. I belong to many other RPGs, ok only liek 3 others, but my skills have been honed and I believe I could be a valuable asset to your team. Or even just a tester, give you helpful hints and ideas. but this sounds like fun.

I actually don't like being staff at RP sites all that much, so if I joined it would just be as a member.
