To do my part to help the fans. I list the Captain guide of the 13 Squads.
Their Zanpakutou's have names, and when they want to release them, they chant a series of words and then with their name and they unleash.
Shi-Kai is their initial and up graded powerful Zanpakutou.
Ban-Kai is their secondry and most powerful complete form.

And before you guys get confused about the characters names. The names are in western style format, not Japanese. So it's Given name, then Family name, not the other way round like Japanese do.

Spoilers await beyond, so read at your own risk.

For the Captains, their squad number does not represent their overall power over others.

I kind of wondered why he always acted so fishy.

The Gotei 13 are strong but wht about the Royal guards? They'd be way stronger, since I'm sure they king doesn't fight but he ought to have his own personal bodyguards. Apart from the 13 Knights (Gotei).

Bleach has a very storyline, very deep and well thoughtout.
