The Boards getting a bit inactive... :(

Not much as before, if we all work together, and post, advertise and stay active, it'd be good as new!

Yeah, but first we need good members willing to do something as easy as that.

Its not that easy, it would involve alot of work, and we are still working at it.

He's been fairly busy, but we do talk to him, nonetheless the site will be back sometime, preferably soon. I can't see why it would have died like its done, I suppose I should talk to Pulse and Logan about switching hosts.

I will attempt to be on as much as possible. However I do have more important things I need to do.

I'm making new IF Board sigs for free for anyone who wants em'. I will post it on another topic when I'm done with them!

I'm here.. We are thinking about switching IFB's host, just so the same thing that happened before, wont happen again. I'm updating the site now that it is back up, should be done in less than an hour!

I don't think it is inactive. It is just not well known.

I totally agree with this perspective, infact I couldn't have said it better myself. If you want to be successful, you need more than just a fancy domain and scripting. You need something that sets you apart from everyone else, and you do, but there lies a flaw in this great IPB meets IF scripting. You don't have that many coders, and you are limited to how much that you can produce, also, many people like to make codes, but give them out EVERYWHERE, you need to have codes that are exclusive and makes a person want to stay here longer and become active. The major issue that should run through your mind is "What can I do that set's me apart from everyone else, and makes people wanna come here?". Simple as that. I can help affiliate you, but not until about 3 months has passed because I am in the process of moving, but one way that I suggest you get known is by setting up invisionfree redirects. What this means is register a bunch of boards that redirect people to this forum, and scatter them, and slowly but surely more people will come. Also, get a fucking graphics artist, that banner is horrendous.

The best thing that can do to help right now is answer the question that is in bold in this post. The answer is sell IPB meets IF forum skins. Obviously you have a member that can script and make and IF board look IPB, well start making skins for the scripts that will look like IPB while still being IF. This is uniqe, and will set you apart from even IFSZ. This may take time, but it's worth it.

Were not allowed to sell, and no one would buy this skin because if they really wanted it, they could get it with out paying. This is a support board, with a few codes, we offer invisionfree support, which is why a bunch of coders aren't needed. We offer a IPB like skin, but it doesn't mean were a coding forum.. also I know you say we need something different because a fancy domain and scripting isn't all we need to set us apart from other sites, but if you look around at other InvisionFree sites, you'll realise it pretty much is. We are looking into ways to get the board more active though, and your post will be saved to come in hand later.

I Think what you got is very good but if you really want this board like an IPB I think you should remove the ads on this board but that would cost $5.00

Its $5.00 for a certain amount of page views, with the bots around as much as they are, it would be like $5.00 wasted.. Also, we DONT want this board to look 100% like an IPB, we want it to look like what this skin would look like on everyones board, and not many people are willing to get ad removel when there not bothering the user at all.
