Title: Zetaboards

I have one questions. When zetaboards comes out, I heard the old skins wont work. Dous that mean that this skin will not work? If it dousnt work, will you have to make another one that works with Zetaboards?

Probably. But maybe not. We may have to hire a few people to make this version of the skin and have it compatible with ZetaBoards. Due to large amount of study's for me. I'm barely able to touch my keyboard eveyrday.

Maybe it wont be a big change. The skin might need only a few changes.

Its obvious that they are still working on it. I'm pretty sure they're not going to have that done until probably mid April. Seeing that they've already created the documentation site, and a few updates on the forums, so all that totals up to a almost - completed.

The skins from IF will be automatically converted to be compatible with zetaboards which is handy.

Where did you hear this? I remember seeing Seth post that there will be a converter for IF to ZB skins.

Yes, but I think it will take a lot, because they haven't released ZB yet, and it seems they're going to take o lot of time more. They said they'll give us the converter after the release of ZB (A few days, or months ...), so we'll have to wait :(

Personally, I see Zetaboards coming out within another few months. They would have at least released a demo, or a bunch of screenshots, or something!

Maybe. I wish that's true, because I can't wait to see ZB, at least in screenshots :(

That's not true. There's a lot of people who don't want the change. They're praying that ZB suffers some kind of accident. They've posted in IF Support Forum sking to stop the developement, or at least to give them the opportunity to don't change their boards <_<

Correct, I've seen people that just want IF 1.3 and not 2.0// Zeta Boards. I think its because they haven't seen the new features, new looks etc. The day of ZB release, I will be closing this board until we get the skin back, but I'm thinking of leaving it online for posting etc. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a few staffs for skinning very shortly, in the next couple weeks, we will be making announcements regarding to skins.

well according to the third post, it says the coding will b different, so yes skins for the most part will not work since the id's are different
also pulse, i will b able to help, as i know how to edit skins fast and effectivaly

umm im not sure, but i ready only some coding wont work, the css will probably not work, but i think it will only be minor, just a few little changes, not a complete re-script :D lol

Most advance codes (like shops) won't work, the simple ones will :)
I really love Zetaboards. I have been using it a month, and it is almost perfect. There are still some little bugs that they still have to fix, but nothing major. I love the fact that now you can code with jQuery, which is really amazing!!! :wub:

jQuery is something else. :P I am currently making a code using some jQuery and I love its uniqueness to it, lol. But its getting pathetic as to how long ZetaBoards is taking...... :S

I do not think it is pathetic. For me Zetaboards does worth the wait. However, I am not going to argue with you about that ;)
By the way, jQuery is amazingly easy and useful :wub:
