Well I really think we need something on this forum to just shout on. Lets take a moment to think of something that you could add to your forum to shout with. And it could be in a rectangle shape so that you can see the shouts.I know!! A shoutbox. From all this we really need something like IPB shoubox 2.0 updated.

It's an pretty good idea, but it may not fit in very well, but we'll just see what other have to say :D

It would fit, just a matter of fitting it in all of the codes already in.

I think it would be a good idea, as there are some good shoutboxes out there that act similar to the IPB 2.x shoutboxes, and could be used for very basic things you wouldn't put in a post, but could be relevant. However, it could be a pain for admins having to moderate them AND the forums.

Personally, my view on shout boxes is nothing more then a slender look of what option a professional InvisionFree resource board would not contain. I find they look incredible unattractive on the forums as there are usually people posting random spam notices in it, also just the look of shout boxes on boards sort of bugs me. I can see it added to the IFB web site possibly, but I wouldn't think it would be a very attractive, professional, or necessary feature for IFB to add.

you should add an IRC to this site, like IBP boards has. I have the code for it, so if the admins are interrested they should PM me :)
