Title: Not enough of Gravitation
Description: Anywhere I can read it's manga :(?

uchiha_tomoe - March 8, 2006 07:03 AM (GMT)
After watching 13 eps of Gravitation plus OVA, I felt very frustrated. I just realized I don't have enough of it... sigh~~~ and worse of all, I have no mood to watch new animes that I downloaded. I'm starting to feel like Yuki or Shuichi... missing each other and undergoing frustration... T_T :help: :help: :help: Want to read more about Gravitation manga (yea... like Shuichi, wanting to know more about Yuki which is Gravitation in my case) So far, I manage to get hold of Track 55-62. I want to read the previous tracks (Vol 1-12) anywhere? Thanks!

If you're looking for the English versions, Amazon sells the Tokypop releases at reasonable prices.

Yeah, I heard about the novels from my newsletter I signed up for with TP (heehee... toilet paper ~~;;; gomen) I want to get it. The only novel I have is the Vampire Hunter D novel, the first one in the set.

the gravitation novel has been delayed over here until the 30 july >_< i'm probably going to be quicker getting a copy sent from the States to be honest. LOL

keriko - March 12, 2006 09:39 PM (GMT)
i have yet to actually finish it but the dialogue is what really makes me love it. The description of the surroundings and of the characters is ok at best.

K has some really good lines, Murakami made him punny as ever.

The setting of the story is shortly after their debut single. So ASK is still a threat and as far as I know Shuichi doesn't know about Yuki's past.

Its cute so far and any gravi fan will enjoy it. I'll have to give a full review when I actually finish it. :sweatdrop:

Squeee! I picked up my copy of the Gravi Novel today. Now I wonder how good of a writer Maki is. I'm so curious to start reading XD!

uchiha_tomoe - March 14, 2006 12:21 PM (GMT)
the story written by maki-san? I thought the story is written by Jun Lennon(correct right?) and art by Maki Murakami,no? The story is nice!!! but the opinion could be bias since I'm a Gravitation fan XDXDXD

Mr. K - March 14, 2006 11:02 PM (GMT)
Yes yes you're right..I discovered this after looking over the book. It'll be interesting I'm sure ^^

uchiha_tomoe - March 17, 2006 07:05 AM (GMT)
The story takes place before their first album was released and Yuki has announced to the whole world that Shuichi's his lover. Surprisingly Shuichi's mum didn't know that.. i wonder if she watches tv or read the magazine...And of all things, Aizawa wanted to destroy Shuichi again >_< I remember Tohma threatening him not to bother Yuki anymore and now he's going to disturb Shuichi?? Damn that Aizawa  But K-san was cool!!!! I wonder if he has a storage of grenades and guns and rifle and snipers and silencers XDXDXD

So this novel that (once again) only people who lives in US or other cool country can get a hold of, is it more related to the anime than the manga? I mean, there's lot of changes right? Taki's "accident" is one of them. Is there... spicy parts on the book? (you pervert! aren't you satisfied with the remixes? no!)
Waaaaaah! I don't wanna live in this country anymore!

Cor Cor - March 26, 2006 05:16 AM (GMT)
My friend bought it the day it came out, and she said like everyother chapter, is sex. Example

Shu:Wanna make love?

Eiri:How can you ask me this now?

keriko - March 26, 2006 05:37 AM (GMT)
Alright kiddies let me give you the low down:

The novel takes place before Taki's "accident" and before the whole New York thing.
It helps if you've read the manga but its ok if you haven't, just as long as you've seen the anime. Murakami does do brief intros of each character but she's assuming you know them pretty well before picking up the book.

Is there sex?
Well sorta. What Shuichi mentioned IS the sex. Its hinted at but doesn't go into detail, go the remixes for that.

The dialogue is BY FAR the best part of the novel. Descriptions of surrounds and character movements gets better as the story progresses but its obvious Murakami is not used to writing novels.

In short, the story is cute. Basically Shuichi is trying to come to terms with Yuki's cold demeanor AND trying to compete with his idol in the music industry. All your favorite characters are there, some that aren't in the manga, like Shuichi's sister and Hiro's family. This wont make any new gravi fans but for those who like Gravitation (and you wouldn't be on this board if you didn't) will enjoy the story.

Cor Cor - March 26, 2006 06:49 AM (GMT)
That was a nice and AWSOME Description! *High Fives*

uchiha_tomoe - March 26, 2006 07:23 AM (GMT)
Well.. not much about sex...if you are going after sex, you should go for remixes (i can't stand any of those... so i'll stick to anime, manga and novel only...remixes and fanfics scare the hell out of myself @_@ I just can't stand it...) well... somehow, if you haven't watched the anime/read the manga( duh!), the novel might give you the impression that Yuki is a sex maniac ;) well that's just from my point of view.... *shrugs* but I still like anime best!
