I kinda mentioned it on another board, but I'm planning on recreating Nittle Grasper as BDJs (Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls.) I already have Ryuichi picked out, (a Luts Shiwoo,) and Tohma (Dream of Doll Luke 2, hat and all!) but I need to find a Noriko. I'm leaning towards DoD"s Louis and giving it a mature female's body, but I'm not sure.

Is anyone else into BJDs, I guess is what I'm asking!
(And if you are, what do you think about my choice for Noriko? And who's Miyavi? *feels dumb* :blush: )

Indeed I am VERY into dolls, there is a very active doll community where I live with 2 or more meet ups a month. There is a local doll owner who has three sets of Yuki and Shuichi dolls, one in each size. B)

I have a DoC Wi, DoC Bee-A, and a DoI A&D.

Okay, I think you know my friend! Do you happen to know someone named Bakayaro Onna? She's a writer friend of mine that showed me her Shuichi (IH SooRi) and it was love at first sight! ^_^

Edit: Looking at the YukixShu pics, that's her! Once I get Nittle Grasper, I'd love to meet her and have a Gravitation pic shoot! I planned on getting them in three agge groups, as teens, as 20-somethings and as 30-somethings. Let see is I can afford to do that! I get my very first BJD this week when my friend brings him into town and then we go to Colossalcon!

I'm...probably the person on DoA that got squealy about the hat. *blush* I'm Eiri-Chick and Ryuichi Sakuma 13 (I'm trying to get the accounts merged) on DoA. I saw DoI's Luke2, and it too was love at first sight! I actually found the hat in my size at Spencer's at the mall for $15.

I know Bakayaro Onna well! I've measured her Yuki and Shuichi! I got to get up close and PERSONAL with those resin beauties. :Nosebleeds: She's a local DFW doll owner and basically organizes all the doll meet ups. ^_^ Last I heard she was getting a DoC Hoo to be her MSD Eiri. Her current love is tinies; while I don't share the passion for uber small dolls its awesome to see so many in one place.

Eiri chick sounds familiar, I'm Keriko on DoA.

My big thing with dolls right now is of course making doll clothes (Medipac Designs is my store on DoA) and doing some modding. Like with Miyavi I pierced his ear, I gave him a gauge. ^_^ I plan to do the same thing with Arimin since he's got CRAZY dumbo ears. :lol:
So far this is my favorite outfit I've made. ^_^

But this one seems to be the most popular.

I know after A-Kon a lot of new faces started showing at the DFW meets. Its funny because a majority of doll owners are female and it was my bf who got me into it. I decided last September I wanted a doll and by October I had my first boy. Its been a downward spiral ever since. ^_^
