I thought about this AU(Alternate Universe) idea. Just for something different and unique from the regular stuff. Because AU rocks my socks! :P This RP would not be related to anything in our regular RP. So everyone and everything would be starting out fresh. I would create it in the In Character Chat board. Make some boards like the Houses board in our RP for example.

This idea actually comes from this Fic (it gives serious background and an idea how this works) I wrote and something that Shu and I were talking about. Many thanks goes to Kade and Tohma who helped in brainstorming lots of this plot! It was inspired by a video game called Suikoden. Of course this RP would be totally different and with different circumstances. We would end up playing in a similar time frame, sorta like Medieval Europe. This world would have a fantasy element to it. Magic, runes, supernatural and mystical animals etc.

People can form whatever kind of relationships with people they want. Depending on who would want to play...would depend on who our Hero would be. Of course you would play the character that you already are for the regular RP ^^

But read the plot I have here and then decide. Because it explains how our characters already interact etc.



PLOT! *SUBJECT TO CHANGE!*

--A king needing help to save his kingdom, ends up creating this path/portal that draws us(Yuki, Shu, Suguru, Hiro, K, Sakano, Keriko, Kade, Ryuichi, Tatsuha, Taki, Rage for example) to his world. This King will look exactly like Tohma but he is not really NG President Tohma so he would not know who we are. He is just a man that looks like him living in this Medieval world. He is the bearer of the Sovereign Rune. A True rune that can change him into a dragon. (Only unlike my fic, he isn't evil ^^)

--A group, perhaps a rebel faction/army wanting to gain power of the kings' land or of the world, have a leader. They would also be the bearer of a True rune called the Blue Moon Rune. This rune makes them able to change into a vampire and when they do, reigns terror on the people. They may murder or torture them, all in the idea of instilling fear to gain control of the land. They must be stopped!

--This is where the Gravi cast comes in. We find this portal and end up in this world of magic and Medieval times. Where you'd meet the King but have NO idea that he is indeed a king at all. We will be given magic (chosen ahead of time so everyone is happy. I will give the choices if enough people agree to play) by the king or something of that nature. The magic will be given to us in the form of Runes. I will explain all about the runes after the plot. Ultimately the Hero, which is Yuki in my mind or it could be Shuichi ^^ gets hold of a True Rune themselves in the form of a sword. The Star sword bearing the Night rune. The only rune capable of destroying a vampire or the Blue Moon Rune.

Runes

This comes from a video game. Suikoden. I have used all the factors of these runes except I changed one thing. The fact that anyone that wears one can communicate with another rune bearer telepathically.

All in all there are 27 True and hundreds of Common runes. Think of the runes as stones. To make this easier for us, no one will have True Runes except for the king and the evil person and the Hero. For the rest of us, we will have common runes. And our runes will fall into the elemental category, you know like Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Lightning, Light, Shadow etc.

Runes become part of a person via skin. They can be worn on either hands or forehead. Only a rune chooses its host, if a rune dissolves into your skin, that means it belongs to you. Because runes are majestic, they are known to control fate and sometimes direct our actions for their own purposes. When a person bears a rune a symbol of your power is displayed on the back of your hand or on your forehead, like a tattoo. Picture of Rune symbols

A condition of a person wearing a True Rune, means they can live forever! This is not so with Common Runes. Just for fun here is the legend from the game about the creation of Runes themselves..how they came to be.

27 True Runes
In the beginning, there was "darkness."
Then, the "darkness" shed a "tear."
From that "tear," the brothers Sword and Shield were born.
Shield claimed it could defend against any attack.
Sword claimed it could slice through anything.
The brothers began a legendary battle.
At the end, both Sword and Shield shattered.
Sword became the sky, Shield became the earth, and the sparks from the battle became the stars.
As for the jewels, they fell to the ground and became the True Runes--The runes that all other runes were born from.

So there is the story with an ending! That means we don't have to rush or we can play as much as we like. If we finish, maybe we can start a new AU story I dunno :P

Anyways tell me what you think? Would you guys be interested in something like this? And if anyone has some other ideas I'm always open for advice and suggestions. I would prefer to work together ^^

yeah! shu wants to play!! sounds cool! i see it like a D&D type thing! that would be cool! hey can i be water or lighting? pweease?! i have to be one of those! XD or maybe i have a fiery spirit so fire would be best? lol. ah whatever i'm up for whatever!

i still don't understand runes.. (at first i thought you were just misspelling "ruins" lol ><)

or yeah we should all be different types of characters. like uh mika can be a white mage, or tatsuha can be the archer, another person the knight, another the wizard , etc..

i vote for Yuki to be hero! that way he can protect me and fight (or just smooth talk) his way out of the evil lady

my 2nd vote goes to Shu! Because shu rocks! :lol:

anyway i've never played suikoden but yeah sounds fun! :P count me in!

Aw. It's not really complicated. --Aya-chan uses alot of excited jibberish. Pretty much the concept is 'Some of the Gravitation cast gets sucked into another dimension, where they have to help a kingdom in turmoil-- As a bonus for being such wonderful players, you get uber-speshul powers.' >XD

Actually I thought that maybe it could be cool if we have a good and bad side. You know the Gravi people from Tokyo that get sucked into the Medieval dimension...could end up on different sides. Don't forget we wouldn't know that we're on a good or bad side, because both sides thinks they are doing what is right.

Also I decided I would play the evil vampire. Forget about the girl..its now K or Claude the evil vampire. HAR HAR! Anyways he would just look like K but he is not the K from the Gravi world. Now if someone wants to be one of my minions on the bad side. let me know ^^

Plus I think we could play this like how the Ai no Kusabi RP is done. Step by step, working together to decide our next thing. Bad guys could be doing their's and Good guys would do theirs. Say bad K comes to see you guys..he would post in the Good guy board etc.

I just want to point out. You can only choose one magic. And it can't be to godly. Be creative think of a how you might use, for example, fire magic. It could be a fireball, or an explosion of flames, it could be a wall of fire. But it can't be like a nuclear bomb XD That would be godly.

But the bad people and lets say the king, the vampire and the Hero which would be Yuki ^^ They could have two. But remember they already have one True rune! so they really can only pick one from the list below too. And they can't be too godly either. Just use common sense. No one really has to die in this RP, unless you choose to.


Here is a list of Runes(Magic stones) that you can choose from ^^ Note some are elemental. But for those that understand this stuff better can choose a more unique magical rune. I will explain what they do in the list ^^ And don't worry we'll all learn as we play ^^

Flowing Rune(deals water/healing magic) - think healing as in helping injured *Taken by Shu*

Cyclone Rune(deals wind/protective magic) - think protection like a shield *Taken by Tohma*

Mother Earth Rune(deal Earth/protective magic) -think protection like a shield

Dark Rune(deals dark magic) *Taken by K*

Resurrection Rune(wakes unconscious people and provides protective magic)

Lightening Rune(deals thunder/lightening magic)

Blue Gate Rune(allows user to summon mythical or ancient warriors but only lasts a short time) *Taken by Tats*

Draining Rune(steals health from another player) *Taken by Kade*

I'm sorry hun if I confused you. What I meant was that the king the vampire and the Hero (Yuki) will come across or already have a True Rune(a super powerful Rune)

Of course for the vampire the True Blue Moon Rune will for bad. But K can choose a regular rune to use as well. I'll pick the Dark Rune.

For the king the True Sovereign Rune will be for good. Tohma gets to pick a regular Rune as well still.

For Yuki the True Night Rune will be found eventually in our game. Only this rune will be attached to a sword. So in the beginning Yuki will only have his Fire(Rage) Rune to start. Does that make more sense?
