h-hi guys ..i came upon this cute little forum here and you all seemed like a fun bunch of gravi fans so i joined. ^^ this is the first time i've ever joined a fan forum like this though.. so please be patient with any newbie-ness i might do as i get adjusted ^^;. i really love gravitation. i'm so glad that i was able to see it. Yes Gravitation has a way of altering a girls life. :P I just got into Yaoi and Shounen Ai stuffs from *blush* Tales of Symphonia hehe. But Gravi came along and I downloaded the thing by chance and became a huge fan. Isn't life wonderful sometimes? lol

Take all the time you need to learn about the forum. There is tons to read and stuffs. And the colour works. But its a pain for me too. I can only get it to work if I do it this way...

Shy newbie here, encouraged to introduce myself by Tatsuha Uesugi (I hope I got that spelling right.)

So... was introduced to Gravitation by a friend of my 14 yo daughter's when we began talking anime and how I liked "pretty boys" (was speaking of Final Fantasy 7 before that--Reno! Cloud! Vincent!). So, he whips out this manga and there are PRETTY BOYS in it . Then he shows me some things on 'youtube'--"Too Sexy" so funny! About a week later I managed to download the eps and have watched them more than a few times since then. (I also downloaded a few other yaoi/shonen-ai/porny things too.. shh!)

I was getting rather dismayed at the lack of good Gravitation fic out there when I stumbled on this site, followed the links of fanfic and fell upon Tatsuha Uesegi/Asrella's fics and fell in LOVE. First one I read was "The Bet" and cried myself laughing. So then, of course, I had to read others. Only I read them in the wrong order. The Bet, then Naked Friday Friends, THEN Hiro Breaks it Down!
Of course, after busting a gut laughing at the absolute gems of witticisms in the writing, I was leery of delving into something more heavier, so I danced around reading The Rose Line. Finally I did, and I DID NOT REGRET IT. Wow. That's all I have to say. It took me prisoner in its clutches and wouldn't let me go until it was done being read. I burnt my supper because of that story. I haven't touched my dishes yet because of that story. I've neglected my laundry because of that story.

Well, I did say I was shy, didn't I? Doesn't quite look like it, does it? :rolleyes:

Oh yes, I should add: I'm looking into actually buying the manga. Thinking of asking my straight-laced, religious Mother for all the books for xmas! :P

I am glad that you enjoyed the stories...even if your dinner didn't make it. :P If you like fanfic, I encourage you to check out more of the authors here in the fanfic section. There's a bunch of them here on the forum that deliver man goodness in spades on AFFnet, FFnet and Gurabite. I'm sure you will find more to your liking.

I discovered Gravitation by accident over a year ago and shortly thereafter took a hard left turn into yaoiville and have never looked back, so I welcome you to the slippery slope! It's a helluva ride.

Check out the manga section on the forum as well. Our own Ryu is our resident expert on man love manga and she's made a lot of recommendations for the good stuff. There are also lots of download links and such floating around here, so there should be plenty to keep you occupied *Gravitation Remixes* cough...if you don't have them already.

As for the manga, try asking your mum for a gift card. Then only we and the store know your naughty secret!

Yes, I saw the downloads section almost immediately; it was one of the first places I went. That, and the fanfic section. As well as the art section. (K in drag?!? Mmm...!)

I'd seen the remixes on yuki-eiri.com but didn't quite know what they were. I thought they were other people's manga creations, like fanfic. NOW I now they're created by the same author. Though I do have to agree with whomever said it that some of them seem to have been made on a lazy day as the drawings aren't as sharp as they could be. Regardless, I checked them out on yuki-eiri.com and only after about five viewings did I figure out that the site didn't put them in order! But you have them here, so I downloaded them and watched them. VERY yummy! B)

I'm a fanfic writer in other fandoms (Harry Potter for a year; a couple in FF7 with two more due to be posted soon, when they return from beta) Don't know yet if I'll be attacked by any plot bunnies for Gravitation, but I think it'd be fun to write Shindou's manic-ness, and Yuki's emo, quasi-despondency with a huge side order of the grumps. :P
And K. Oh, can't forget gun-wielding K!
Perhaps, after I get my hands on the manga and get more of their characteristics I'll feel more comfortable getting into it without massacring them. :blink:

I'm a die-hard Gravitation fan and have been since 2002. Gravi was my first foray into yaoi at Ohayocon 2002 and I waited patietly for it to get legalized here in the US [baka me, didn't think of looking for fansubs >_<;;; but I found nearly all the music that way! ^_^]

And now, I'm the new Ryuichi! ^____^ of course, naturally acting like him didn't help...oh wait...he acts like me, since I've been around longer! Heehee!
