Oh so it finished downloading did it ^^ I watched some more of it today and i nearly killed myself when i heard Ryus voice. And Yuki sounds like he has something stuffed up his nose >_<

Tohma sounds like an angel .. At least for me he does. But it's possible that i think the english version sounds good, since i'm not english speaking to start with ^_^

I suppose what you're saying is true Yuki. But to me, the voices are just so blah...they aren't using much emotion or levels in their voices...its just so monotoned. If all English speakers spoke that way...we'd be robots lol! Or at least that's how it sounded to me.

Maybe I'm just biased after enjoyihng the Japanese version so much more. I just thought the voice's suited the characters and gave them life ^^

No i agree with you K-San ^^ They sounded so dead, like robots. Their voices held no emotion whatsoever.

Haha i really don't understand how you guys think they sounds like robots. i don't hear that. I think english is sexy.. *Drool* and well.. I just can't stand that it's female voice actors to some of the characters, even though they're men. Like Tohma, and Quatre in Gundam Wing..And Hisoka in Yami No Matsuei. That's just wrong

The only voice in the English version I really can't stand is Shuichi's. I kept expecting him to say FLAME ON! every five seconds.

Incidentally, Eric Vale, the second Tohma voice is also the English voice of Prince Yuki in Fruits Basket I believe. I prefer that voice over the female Japanese Tohma. I actually like Yuki's English voice. The way it sounds. I can't stand the way he delivered his lines, but the voice itself is kinda sexy.


The English Hisoka in YnM is DAMN SEXY!!!

WOOF!!! And I don't know about anyone else, but DAMN I love to hear English Tsuzuki run. All that panting and spell chanting and more running and panting...I don't know how they ever manage to banish any evil. If I was Hisoka I'd make Tsuzuki run up and down the hills of Nagasaki all day!

*luffs Cinnabon* We used to have only 1 Cinnabon store in Scotland and it was in Stirling. But it got closed down and made into a Bear Factory...which sucks cause Cinnabons totally rocked!!

The only anime i have EVER liked in english was Trigun. It sounded much better in English than it did in Japanese.

Well I'm glad to see there are some that enjoyed it then. I mean it's just me being too picky..but like I said I had to see for myself. I mean I have seen lots of anime's that sounded great dubbed, so not all are bad or anything. But I have to admit I prefer Japanese..only cause it seems to appeal to me more. I love their crazy expressions ^^

Two of my favourite English voices are Shiloh Strong and Crispin Freeman from a video game. MMM...I'd like to feed them both Cinnabon's haha!

I liked the english Tohma, of course I liked the english Yuki so....

I really like Steven Blum. His range is awesome, I especially loved him as Mugen in Samurai Champloo. I met him at my first anime convention about 2 years ago. Apparently he doesn't go to conventions very often because of stalkers and the like. I believe it, this guy has been in EVERYTHING!!

The voice of Chrno from Chrno Crusade is a good voice actor. I've heard a few other things he's been in but Chrno is my absolute fav!!

One of my friends is OBSESSED with Freeman. Everything he's in my friend can pick out his voice instantly, even if its just a minor character.

Shuichi sounded like a old man, yuki sounded like he had something stuck in his throught if you know what I mean -_- and thats all I got to hear because I got so pissed off and switched it to jap (I got goosebumps when I heard yuki's english voice <_< )

I made the extreme mistake of watching it once, it made me want to cry. I -hated- all of the voice actors for the english version, it was pure crap. They sounded so monotone, i didn't dare listen to Ryuichi's voice, Shuichi and Hiro's were bad enough.

Quinton Flynn??!!! Hes has the best guy voice he also did the voice for Raiden in metal gear solid 2, I love Raiden :wub: and for you guys out there RAIDEN IS NOT GAY!! you men are just jealous :(

No no, I love Quinton Flynn! ^^ He's Axel in KH2, Reno in Advent Children, oh the list goes on. It's just kinda hard to imagine him as Shuichi ^^;

The only voice actor I liked in english was Vash from Trigun.

I also like the voice actor for Ken Hidaka from Weiß Kreuz he sounded hot -_-
