I'm a huge video game fan. I love RPG's mostly but I'm a fanatic for Dynasty Warriors (I really could talk all day about this game) or shoot em up games too and strategy games like Navy Seals and Dynasty Tactics.

I guess if I were list my top 5 it'd be this:

1. Suikoden
2. Tales of Symphonia
3. Dynasty Warriors
4. Final Fantasy(all games)
5. Bust A Move

Note: The first three if I could would place them all at number 1 lol

Before I was into anime, video games were my life, especially rpgs.

Favorites include:

1. Final Fantasy Series
2. Final Fantsay Tactics (I kinda consider them a little different from regular final fantasy)
3. Suikoden Series, especially number 2.
4. Xenosaga and Xenogears
5. Breath of Fire series
6. Lunar.
7. Wild ARMS

Oh yes Lunar was a awesome game too! I both games and of course Suikoden two is the all time best Suikoden. Who didn't love Flik!

I'm a final fantasy addict myself. My favourites were FF7 and FF10. I have to say that i thought FFX-2 and FF11 sucks mass amounts of balls though.

Mmm yes..Matthew and Guy! I just have to they are my favourite Fire Emblem pair alongside Kent and Sain. Doesn't Sain make you think a little of Zelos? Like in terms of trying to be a womanizer lmao!

Suikoden Tactics (aka Rhapsodia) Is funny, it first takes place years before Suikoden IV, you get to see lil Snowe and Hero IV, they're so cute, but then it takes place after IV, Hero IV (Khandel ^^;; ) is funny in it. But nonetheless its a good game

Has anyone played any of the Jak and Daxter game? I LOVE Jak and Daxter, the first game was fairly easy but super fun to play, the second and third where freaking great (biiig guns!), we have JakX at work to rent, its a Jak racing game, heard its not that great but i'm gonna give it a go anyway since i enjoyed the racing parts of the 2nd and 3rd game.

I never played Jax and Daxter but I seen the ads. I dunno but they just aren't my sorta game. I have played Crash but I only like the racing levels where you have to get the best time ^^; Or when you get to be the girl and ride the tiger ..soo cute!

well the tactics game that they made was to continue the story they left off with SIV and to prepare you for when V comes out. But yes, a tactics of 1 or 2 woudl be awsome

I finally started really playing DW5 (Dynasty Warriors) I bought it a few months ago and you know put it off blah blah..But man it rawks!! I highly recommend it if you like kicking the crap out masses amounts of people in one swing :P

The weapons are freaking awesome! And you can change your warriors costumes wee! up to five different outfits w00t! The coolest thing is after defeating once with each kingdom Wei, Wu, Shu and Other you can edit the opening movie. I'm putting all the hottest guys in the movie..

I know what you mean. I've been playing DDR and while I'm not that good yet whenever I play I play for like 3 hour spurts. My god, 3 hours of flailing around hoping to god no one is watching all the while in the back of my mind all other PRODUCTIVE things I SHOULD be doing but aren't. :sweatdrop:

Final Fantasy VII is never enough for me. Well, I like all of them really. But I love Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross too, and survival horror like Silent Hill and Resident Evil.

Oooooooh, I am (sadly) obsessed with the whole Silent Hill Series, SH2 being my favourite overall. I'm also a HUGE Devil May Cry fan, as well as Fatal Frame. So yeah, for me it's the gory horror games :3 They just make me happy, what can I say?

But of course, you've gotta love the Final Fantasy series (FFVII is my OTL), as well as DDR, Kingdom Hearts of course, and OH METROID, I love Metroid. ;-;

OMG I got this game today. The second story or sequel or part...whatever you want to call it to FF VII. It rocks SOO much!! Squeee you get to play as Vincent Valentine and all his guns! So sweet this game.

Although getting used to the controls is a task XD But it totally gets easier with practice ^^ And Vincent is just soo damn cool. This is the sweetest game of the year hands down man :bounces:

Hmm I guess since this is because of a video game I'll post this here.

I got a recipe for Sea Salt Popsicles from Kingdom Hearts 2. Only the recipe I found on the net SUCKED! I mean they must have mis-typed when they asked for 3 tbsp of salt o-o thats extreme and the stuff tastes el nasty!

So I revised the recipe and came up with my own. Its mint!

Sea-salt Popsicles

2 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream or unwhipped whipping cream (optional)
1-2 tsp of sea salt (depends how on your tastes)
5 tbsp white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2-4 drops of blue food colouring

Directions:

- Mix together and whisk until salt anad sugar has dissolved.
- Pour into popscile trays
- Freeze overnight

Makes about 8 servings

Enjoy!

your AU post, K, naturally made me think of video games and there's a very very beautiful underrated game out there that the world needs to know about.

Threads Of Fate

this is a PSX game from back in the day but its still beautiful as ever. Its an RPG and you get to play as 2 different people: Rue and Mint. your choice. they both have their own different powers and their own different stories that intertwine throughout the game. its very very well made. its from the same people who brought you FF games. squaresoft (or rather when they were still squaresoft .. ah the good ol days.. er not saying that they're new stuff isn't good either..)

anyway you can play through both of their stories and they're both full stories. so once you're done with one character you can move on to the 2nd and it will be like beginning all over! like a whole new game.. but not.. and there's neat sidequests, the worlds and cut scenes are great and gah! everything about the world is superb!

the music is beautiful! the characters are great!! the gameplay: fantastic! i'm sure all you FF, legend of mana, zelda, and even the rest of you gamers will love it!

But since I'm posting in this topic I should say I've been playing the new Tales of the Abyss. Fweee I'm such a Tales fan! This game is so awesome, an RPG of course ^^ Although Abyss came out for PS2 instead of the Gamecube like they did with Symphonia. Good thing I have both machines..but I wonder why they did that? Still thought I'm happy to hear that they didn't change stuff in this version compared to Symphonia. U know like in the Japanese version of Symphonia they took out some costumes etc. Well not in Abyss.. YAY yay! <333

Squeee it's just like the game, but they took out a lot of scenes. They are following the game storyline tho ^^ WEEEE I can't wait for Zelos and Regal to appear, but I imagine they won't be around till like OVA 3 v.v

i've played all those game. and square enix is just that good thats why 99.9% of the main and sub characters look great. TOS is a fun game. I'm more of the Devil May Cry and Resident Evil type player. fighting the undead is fun. i just won't fight a vamp thats all.

The life of a game player is becoming SO hard! It's not fair how your favorite games get tossed between so many platforms.
