Last night at church we had a "first." We had a little 10 year old boy preach to us (Jason R.).... HE did an outstanding job... This was his first time and really you wouldn't have thought that he was nervous... He used John 3:17-18... The title of his message was---DOES JESUS CONDEMN... He brought out some excellent points and you could tell he knew his material... He had some notes, but I'm not sure that I ever saw him refer to them..
What really touched me, was when he gave the invitation, he motioned for his twin brother Justin and for their dad, and for the Pastor to come up there... Then the first person they prayed for was a little 8 year old boy... I mean the faith, that these 3 boys had, as they prayed was so moving.... You could really feel the presence of the Lord.... Marcus' mother (8) said when he came back to his seat that he had tears in his eyes and he had never done that before... IT was awesome... Keep little Jason R in your prayers that he will continue to grow and to mature and to always follow the Lord...In fact the whole Roquemore family is going through some serious battles right now, so pray for all of them... How wonderful! I will keep this child and his family in my prayers. I wish more young people would get involved! :3crs:
