I got to hear Jimmy & Liz and the extremely talented new baritone, Vince, a couple of weeks ago. They were soooooo awesome!!!!   I mean, I KNEW that Jimmy & Liz could both blow people away with their talent, but hearing them together, and hearing how well they blend with each other and with Vince, was truly amazing. I have the CD, and I love it, but.....it is nothing compared to what I heard that night. Nothing against Paul - I don't know him, and he sounds fine on the CD - but I believe Vince is who is supposed to be in this group. The harmonies are phenomenal! :WOW: It was a great night, and you could really feel the Spirit too. There were several teenagers in the crowd, and I worried they wouldn't like the southern aspect of the music, but they loved it. And a couple of 'older' gentleman (76 & 73) in my row, also loved it - even the songs that might be considered a tiny bit contemporary. Liz has become my favorite female vocalist with that voice I can only decribe as 'velvet'. That's the word that comes to mind when I try to decribe it. And I'd kill for that HAIR!!! :P :lolgrl: And Jimmy doesn't even need the mike a big part of the time with his huge voice. But he also knows how and when to tone it down and just sing soft and pretty. Okay, so I'm not a 'reviewer' and might not know the best words to use - just suffice it to say - I LOVED THE CONCERT!!!!! :hpy: :s85: :UR:
I love  Jimmy & Liz with all my heart and am praying :hg5: for great blessing on them and this ministry. If you have the chance to hear them , I highly recommend it :967:
I think you used just the right words, MMF. I heard Jimmy when he was briefly with the Toney Brothers, and he has a nice voice. Thanks for the review. It makes me want to see them. :hg5:
