don’t this song just HIT HOME to me… I hadn’t even heard it and I was talking to someone about being on the mountain… and thinking of writing something on it.. WELL I found this song, and there isn’t a need to! whoever wrote it, did a beautiful job!!

the choir use to sing that in church. My mema typed up the lyrics and put them on her refrigerator so she could see them every morning to remind her

My mil and all her kids (my in-laws) sing this one a lot in church. Or, I should say they did. My mil isn't in the best of health anymore and has a hard time singing in front of church.

But I also love this song. I loved to sing it with them and sometimes sing it to myself when I need a little boost. :)

I sing it also, and it really stirs the spirit up in our church... The words are so true to life... We can't just worship God in the good times, he is there in the bad times too.... We have to have those valleys, in order to appreciate the mountain tops. If we were on the mountain tops all the time, we would grow complacant and not try to grow closer to the Lord... This is a beautiful song. Even the music is beautiful. I wish I could write my thoughts and feelings down as well, and make songs out of them....
