Withered Breath An ancient battle field stained with the skeletal remnants of horses long past. But here and there, you will find the partially decomposed, for the land is still in use. It is a barran one, a desert devoid of any foliage or animal. Not even snakes make their homes here. there are occasional rocks, but they are nto nearly big enough to house any reptile, nor obscure your view. You can see the desert for miles around, save for to the south. To the south and east is a hazy line of green, marking the ancient forestry of a horses lands and of the old woods. |

Old Wood [North] Here, Lying inbetween two herds and the desert, there is the northern expanse of the great wood that rans across the western area of Cendar, the area of the continent where the horses live. Two herds have claims to part of the overall forest. It is teeming with animal life and foliage of all kinds, a bright contrast to the barrens north-west of it. |

Old Wood [South] The southern branch of the wood is mostly in claim to a herd, the the rest is free for your wandering. It is identical to the northern area of the wood. |

Sheer Trail Mountains wind around the northern parts, and would completely isolate the smaller herd if not for the pass and the valley. But there mountains may be treacherous for those who choose to wander the wrong trail. The skilled rangers who know it well love it's stoney company and the cool solitude. |

Paw Steps Path This path is named after the constant situation in which it remains. Itis always drenched in paths of the wolves that abide here in the harsh conditions. It is dangerous for one or two horses alone, but should you have the company of a herd, they dare not threaten you. After all, after living on mostly snow-shoe hares for being driven out of the more lush areas, thy're bound to get hungry... |

Rhapsody Shores The south shores are said to be the most beautiful place in the world. They are covered in fine white sand and give way too sparkling clear water the color of bright cyan. In the coves one may find privacy as well as a longing to explore. Tide pools are always full with trapped shellfish to watch, and the gulls always squawk, providing a tempting target to terrorize. |

Cadence Valley In it's northern reaches, is the open area that connects two herds. It also huggs close around the mountains. It is lush with flowers and grass. A burst of color only rivaled by the old wood. |

Shadowed Springs In the eastern end of the smallest herd lands tucked up in the valley of the mountains, there is an area of hot springs. These spew down into the river which flows south to other lands. But the terrain here is warm and carpeted in soft mosses and light green grass. It's a wonderfuly comfortable place, and easy on the eyes. It's air is a bit opagued from the constant spew of steam, but other then that, it's quite nice. |

Swale's Small A small forest defined from the old wood by a ring of empty grass. But inside the forest is pockmarked with clearing and clear pools teamign with tadpoles and lilypads. Despite it's obvious attraction for prey, no predators wander here. It has become out of their reach by unknown means. This is a popular spot for young. |

Saber's Ridge It is no mystery where this place go tit's name. Though the felines are extinct it this area, their skulls still riddle the rocky outcropping. Though the puzzlement is there are no other parts of the skeleton. But the horses don't mind. The saber toothed tigers are dead and that's good enough for them. This flat ridge rises up out of the ground and had a flat top. It gives a great view of the mountainous valley and it's surroundings, and even a glimpse of the great southern sea. |

River Wound The shallow river that runs from the springs, still warm, curls around the small field and runs south, filling up part of the lands. It's bottom is lain with white rounded stones that shift as one walks across the more so a stream then a river. It is mere inches deep at the most abysmal parts, and only an inch or so on average. The water tumbles over the rocks ona gently sloping surface. |

Field Of Acune'li Named for the ancient horse that founded Felrii'ninihs, the field serves as the main social focal point fo the herd lands. Meetings and councils are held here, as well as festivals and initiation ceremony's, markign a horses beginning in a certain rank. |
