Name: Panda Cory

Scientific Name: Corydoras Panda

Origin: Ucayali river system in Peru

Water Temp: 68-77 F

Varieties: None

Sexing: Females are plumper

Breeding: Egg layers, eggs found on glass and tank ornaments

Relatives: Related to other cories like bronze, albino, and leopard

Size: 1-1.75 inches

Minimum tank size: 10 gallons

Care level: Moderate, more sensative then other cories

Diet: Algae waffers, shrimp pellets, frozen blood worms, and brine shrimp

Temperment: Peaceful and social, should be kept in a school

Compatibility: Great community fish that does well with tetras, ottos, peaceful barbs, small gouramis, and more. Should not be kept with nippy fish or fish that harm it. Shouldnt be kept with active catfish like Pictus cats.

Comments: This fish is one of the best catfish i have ever had. I have 5 panda cories in my 20 gallon and they keep the bottom really clean. They breed about two times a week and are very social with eachother. I highly recomend this fish for a mature aquarium.
