Hello everyone! It has been a VERY long time since our last fanart contest, so it is my esteemed pleasure to announce this new contest, the Vamp It Up! Fanart Contest!!

Ever want to explore the realms of the macabre? Do vampires, demons, or werewolves haunt your dreams at night? Well, here is your chance to bring your inner demons to light! The Fanart Forum's very own 'Vamp It Up' fanart contest allows you to enter the world of darkness and draw your visions of chilling fantasy for all to see!!!

The rules are simple--

1. Artwork may be in ANY STYLE, depict any character (even original ones), and be in any medium. How you draw your artwork, and how you choose to go about competing in this contest is up to you!

2. Artwork must have a 'dark' theme. Vampires, demons, creatures of the night, dragons, ghosts, evil doers, sorceresses--as long as it's 'dark' in nature, it's doable. Pictures can contain violent themes, as long as they are not TOO graphic in nature(i.e. containing tons of blood, gore, unnecessary torture, or ANY kind of rape/molestation. I will not tolerate violations of these rules). You may also parody dark creatures/themes. Again, how you go about competing in this contest is up to you!

3. Artwork MUST BE ORIGINAL to you! You may use already-made characters (in the case of fanart) from any fandom, but the artwork you submit must be your ORIGINAL creation and design--NO PLAGIARISM! If I catch you cheating, you will be banned from this contest and all future contests! You have been warned.

In the case of this contest, there will be TWO winners--depending on how many submissions we receive. If I happen to get more than 10 submissions, then I may increase that number to three or even four--again depending on the total of submissions received.

Please submit your artwork via e-mail or PM to me, Shiroiyuki. My e-mail address is Shiroiyuki3@yahoo.com. In order for easy viewing and judging purposes, please make sure to use Imageshack.us for all uploading needs. Please do not link to your artwork submissions in this thread! All said links will be deleted.

All submissions MUST be in on or before August 15th, 2006 in order to qualify for this contest. Those of you who have entered our Fanart Forum contests in the past know that any and all prizes (artwork drawn be me for you--and you only) will be rewarded quickly after the contest ends. All contest winners (and all submissions)will be announced and shown in the Past Winners sub-forum, along with 'protected' versions of the prizes.

woohoo!!! I fanart contest!!!!! This sounds so cool!! :P I love drawing this sorta stuff. I'm definetly in!! (especially since the due date is before classes will start getting hectic!!)
