Found in vicinity of Mosquito Banks, 2 miles offshore on the ocean side of Key Largo, Florida Keys. Attached to underside of test of dead sea biscuit Clypeaster rosaceus in three feet of water, August, 2006. Collected by Marlo Krisberg | Photographed and identification by Bruno Anseeuw (Belgium).

what an interesting species! the plates almost appear to be fleshy and cojoined, in one piece, not seperate.
