Disclaimer: I don't own Days of our Lives or the characters. They are the property of NBC, Corday Production and Sony.

This is my first fanfic, so go easy with me.

This fic takes a place when Lucas and Carrie were teens. There's no Sami or Austin in this fic. Marlena and John are Carrie's parents as well they are Eric and Belle's. Carrie is the oldest one from the kids. She and Lucas are about 18-year olds in this story. Kate had an affair with Bill Horton which's result is Lucas. Since coming Salem Lucas has been living in Bill and Laura's place.

Chapter 1

It was morning. Carrie was smiling. Yesterday her best friend Lucas had asked her to go with him to the Last Blast Dance. She couldn't wait until Friday when the Last Blast was. And she couldn't think about going there with someone else besides Lucas. They had been friends for a while and lately they have been growing closer. She wondered if there was even a small chance that Lucas had feelings for her. She wasn't even sure herself if she felt something more than friendship towards Lucas. "I can't think about that right now" Carrie thought but she still couldn't get Lucas out of her mind. She remembered the day they met first time. It was last summer when Lucas Roberts had arrived in Salem with his mother Kate Roberts. Kate had got married with Victor Kiriakis and they moved in to the Kiriakis Mansion. Carrie was working at Titan to get some money for herself. Sure her parents had money but she felt that it was time for her to get a job and become independent. The same time Lucas had started to work in Titan and they had meet then. And since that day they had been inseparable. Carrie had been there for Lucas when he found out that he's father wasn't really dead and that Bill Horton was actually his father. Lucas had been furious towards Kate because when Lucas was a kid she had told him that he's father had died when Lucas was a baby. It took some time for Lucas to forgive his mother and he hadn't completely done that yet. He had to get a way from his mother so Bill and Laura had offered him a place to live and he took the offer. Carrie was happy about that because the Kiriakis Mansion was so far a way but Horton's house was in their neighbor. This way she and Lucas had been seeing each other more often. Carrie was so lost in her thoughts that she jumped little when she heard the doorbell ringing. She run to the downstairs and opened the door.

"Hi Carrie." The familiar voice said.

Carrie couldn't be more happier at the moment. She wondered why Lucas had come by.
